Congratulations to Crosby United U13s on reaching the U13 Divisional Trophy 21/22 season.
The match against Discoveries Howdens U13 took place on 24th April 2022 at Appleby Framingham’s ground at Brumby Hall. There was a great turnout to watch the very close game between the two teams. Crosby took the lead in the 23rd minute but Discoveries came back with an equaliser just before half time. It remained a draw despite chances at both ends and Discoveries went on to win on penalties.
The team was clearly disappointed but should be proud of reaching the cup final, the way they played and their great team spirit. Following the match the team met up at our home ground for pizza and a kick about which soon had them smiling again and ready to go next season.
